Quality is non-negotiable throughout this project. With no existing merchandise collection, the products, branding trims, technical details and overall direction were developed from the start and continue to develop over time. Upcycled materials are used where they connect naturally to the brand and the ocean, like mother-of-pearl buttons made from discarded shells. Small “Oceanic Surprises” were developed for the collection, tiny printed sea creatures hidden inside selected products for the owner to discover.

I work closely with GOTS-certified suppliers, with attention to materials, certification, good working conditions, no child labour and equal treatment. Long-standing relationships with people who understand the way I work are an important part of the process. We work closely together, with quality control remaining an important part of every stage. From sampling and production through to final delivery, every stage is followed closely to maintain the standards expected.
